GOLiFE Care-X redefined the wearable category by seamlessly fusing three essential pillars: innovative mobile payment, a proactive smart assistant, and professional-grade health tracking. By integrating an NFC-enabled strap with real-time heart rate monitoring and intelligent notifications, it provides a comprehensive ecosystem on the wrist.
Elevating wearables to fashion essentials
We see high-frequency usage is crucial for the success of wearable device. By maintaining a sleek profile and premium metal accents, we transformed a functional electronics into a sophisticated fashion accessory that complements any outfit, encouraging consistent, everyday wear through superior aesthetic appeal.
Taiwan’s first mobile payment samrtband
In 2015, the GOLiFE Care-X made history as Taiwan’s first smartband to integrate mobile payments through a landmark partnership with EasyCard and iPASS. By embedding NFC modules directly into interchangeable straps, we bypassed the hardware limitations of the era to enable seamless transit and retail transactions. This innovation set a new industry benchmark, transforming a wearable device into an essential tool for urban life.

Smartband loss is a frequent user pain point, especially with the mobile pay functions that makes it a critical issue. After benchmarking over 20 competitors and rigorous prototyping, we developed a high-security solution that prevents accidental falls without increasing manufacturing costs.

To guarantee a flawless market launch, we collaborated closely with engineers and suppliers to validate mechanical integrity, manufacturing feasibility, and assembly-line efficiency prior to mass production.
GOLiFE smartband series- Care
Care is the previous generation of Care-X, also the very first product of GOLiFE Care series. The metal cover with a stripe screen mounted at the center was an iconic design language when it launched in 2014, earning the brand huge attention in Taiwan's smartband market.
